About 3 months ago I found out I was turning 40 years old. Last year I celebrated my 38th not realizing I was actually 39. I guess that happens when your a busy mom of 3 boys. Instantly I freaked out. I wasn’t ready to turn 40. At that very moment I felt old and ashamed. My dark cloud was following me for a couple of day. I even cried knowing my dream of a Big Gala party for my 40th birthday was not going to happen in 3 months.
But then after my silly pity party, I realized I have accomplished a lot In my 40 years of life. Gosh Darn it…I just lost 130 pounds and no one or no age can take that away from me!
I’m a super mom and wife and so much more than just number. My Age will not define me. I feel more alive now then ever, because I love me! So I decided to celebrate with my own cake smash. And not any ol’ cake smash but a Wonder Woman/ Super mom cake smash! Life shouldn’t be so serious and neither should turning 40.
To all my Queens on this earth, this for you too. Go live life. Don’t let the media or society define who you are. We are amazing and important beings of this world.
Thank you to my wonderful husband who was my personal photographer…
